Alexander Erdenberger

Home country: Germany
Program: Exchange

As a child, Alexander Erdenberger’s nickname was ‘koala bear’—a nickname that fed his dream of one day leaving Germany to visit Australia.

Now, at the age of 27, Alexander is fulfilling his childhood wish.

“Australia was always a dream land for me to visit,” he says.

“I had heard about the different way of life ‘down under’ and I wanted to experience that.”

Alexander says the friendliness of University staff and the “outstanding service” they offer made his time at USC both enjoyable and rewarding.

“The staff at USC are very helpful in every situation and always answer my questions with a friendly smile,” he says.

Alexander says his USC experiences will assist him once he returns to his home country.

“I think my English language skills have improved, and that will of course be very helpful for my career,” he says.

“I really like it here at USC and I think it is going to be very hard when I have to say goodbye to such perfect study conditions.”
