After completing a Bachelor of Arts, USC graduate Ben Hayes decided to continue his studies and expand his career opportunities by gaining a teaching qualification.
Ben chose to study a Graduate Diploma in Education at USC because it offered a positive learning environment where students are able to interact with lecturers and tutors.
He says he valued the quality of teaching at USC, particularly in the Graduate Diploma in Education program.
“The staff had vast teaching experience, which meant all questions could be answered and concerns met. It is essential for this type of course to have this experience, as education is so dynamic in nature.”
Ben also benefited from the workplace experience provided in his program.
“I was fortunate to gain employment with my workplace learning school. Workplace learning provided many opportunities to experience school life and gain vital experience.”
Ben is enjoying his new career. “I love the fact that every day is different,” he says.
