Tristan Kurz
As Operations Manager for Coastline BMW on the Sunshine Coast, Tristan Kurz is using the valuable skills he learnt during a year-long internship at BMW headquarters in Munich.
Tristan was able to undertake the internship due to the Bachelor of Business (International Business) he studied at USC.
Tristan’s desire to understand and be involved with people and companies of a foreign nature drove him to embark on a degree in International Business.
“My degree at USC enabled me to complete my internship in Munich. The skills I learnt there have allowed me to bring a new style of thought into the business at Coastline BMW,” he says.
Tristan says the benefits of studying his degree at USC were many.
“The University of the Sunshine Coast is smaller than other universities, which allows greater communication between students and tutors,” Tristan says.
“I feel it is the fresh and innovative thinking from lecturers and tutors that allows a broader and more diverse learning platform for students.”
Tristan says he would recommend USC to any prospective students, as the diverse structure of the courses offered by USC enables students to gain realistic ideas of the careers they have chosen to embark upon.
