Ashleigh Manski Bachelor of Business

Indigenous Tutorial Assistance Scheme

With a desire to work in hospitality and tourism, Ashleigh Manski enrolled in a Bachelor of Business at the University of the Sunshine Coast.

By focusing her studies in the areas of management, marketing and human resources, Ashleigh's education will help her reach her career goals.

Ashleigh says the supportive environment at USC, and the University's size and location were also important factors in her decision to study on the Sunshine Coast.

"USC is close to home and smaller than other universities," Ashleigh says.

"The University has a supportive environment with many opportunities available."

Ashleigh said the Indigenous Tutorial Assistance Scheme (ITAS), which provides academic support to Indigenous students, had assisted her during her time at USC.

"I used ITAS in my first year, and will apply for it again this year," Ashleigh says.

"It really helps to support what you've been taught in lectures and tutorials and helps to reinforce what you've learnt and make sense of it all."
