Australia's climate and natural beauty drew Ayako Sato to the
University of the Sunshine Coast.
"It is a safe region with beaches and good weather," Ayako
says.
Staff at the University helped Ayako with visa procedures and
lecturers were always on hand to answer questions.
"I found lecturers from the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences
to be very helpful and considerate of language difficulties faced
by international students," she says.
Ayako took advantage of the University's Homestay Program and
stayed with a local family near the University campus.
"Homestay was a great opportunity for me to experience
Australian life," says Ayako.
For anyone considering studying at USC, Ayako offers this
advice:
"If you would like to stay in a small city near nature, then
choose the Sunshine Coast. In regard to quality of university
academic staff and support, I recommend USC."
