University to hold study options evening

USC student Nina Gehrke

1 May 2008

The University of the Sunshine Coast will hold a free information evening on Wednesday 14 May for all those planning to start studying at the University in July 2008.

The Mid-year Options Evening from 6-8pm will give prospective students the chance to talk one-on-one with academics and admissions staff about study options, scholarships and their future careers.

Detailed information will be available about making an application, improving tertiary eligibility, gaining recognition for prior learning and work experience, and alternative entry pathways to university.

This includes the University’s Tertiary Preparation Pathway (TPP), a program designed to help prospective students develop the skills and knowledge they might require for university study.

Information also will be supplied about the wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, student support services and financial support available at USC.

To register for the evening, phone Tegan Piggford on (07) 5459 4795 or email <options@usc.edu.au>.
