Traditional Aboriginal Australians were skilled at tracking animals by looking for footprints.
Research the idea 'animal footprints'. Record notes and ideas in your journal. Google ‘animal footprints’ to get started.
Using a sand tray, draw some of them.
Photograph them and use the photos to create a presentation for your class.
See if other students in your class can identify the animal belonging to the footprint.
There are other ways to use marks and objects in soil and sand to create an art piece.
