The University of the Sunshine Coast Gallery Exhibition Committee welcomes proposals from professional artists or groups of artists with a significant record of exhibitions.
Submissions must include a CV, a proposal, and images of work (digital or hard copy is fine). It is suggested that you discuss your proposal with the Gallery Curator prior to sending material.
The guidelines are broad but we consider exhibitions that encompass one or more of the following:
- educational relevance
- exhibitions that link with studies in Art and Design at the University through theme (please discuss with Gallery Curator) or media are particularly relevant and exhibitions that creatively utilise digital media or have a design emphasis are preferred
- exhibitions that link with other courses (such as tourism, social history, environmental science etc) within the University
- exhibitions that address issues of social, cultural and community relevance, providing a provocative function and stimulating debate and interest
- contemporary art practice
