Artwork: Trish Robson Fabricated Landscapes series, 2002 Local artists Lorna Martin and Trish Robson explore personal meanings that reside in the landscape. Both artists are concerned with human impact on the environment but they reflect this in different ways.

Martin frequently tells stories of human occupation, fire, water and earth, and in these meditative works her ideas take on subtle and simple form.

Robson uses discarded and fabricated materials to explore human intrusion on the landscape. Her exuberant works show a beauty created from things discarded, and their relationship to human presence.
