Alumni "Get that Job" workshop
In this tightening job market having an edge on the competition can make all the difference. To refresh your skills and "get that job" you have dreamt of gaining, come along to a half-day "Get that Job" Workshop for alumni.
Topics include:
- identifying jobs that suit your talents, interests and career aspirations
- resume writing
- preparing a written application that will stand out from the others
- addressing the selection criteria
- performing confidently, calmly and competently at interviews
Date: Thursday 19 March 2009
Time: 9am–12.30pm, followed by a light lunch
Venue: Library Seminar Room, Ground floor, USC Library, Sippy Downs
Cost: A$15.00. Payment by credit card, cheque or cash
You will have the opportunity to network with other graduates and ask questions of industry experts relevant to you and your situation.
Facilitators:

- Anne Bowden, Careers and Graduate Employment Officer, USC
- Plus industry employers who will share their years of experience on how to “get that job”
