Kerri Thomas (2000) Surf Lifesaving

Kerri Thomas

Kerri Thomas has ridden the crest of a wave to the very top of world surf lifesaving.

Kerri has won more Sunshine Coast branch titles than she cares to remember, and in 1999 became the first female competitor to be named captain of the regional team.

In 1994, the Maroochydore star won the women’s ski race at the world championships. She repeated this at the 1998 world championships, and added the world ironwoman to her collection.
