Home of Australia’s largest investment in healthcare infrastructure

The Sunshine Coast is one of Australia’s fastest growing regions, and is home to the new $1.8 billion Sunshine Coast University Hospital, and also home of Australia’s first sustainable greenfield city and Thompson Institute of Neuroscience.

The Sunshine Coast Hospital Precinct integrates research and practice and will provide a range of free public hospital services. The hospital also counts with the new hybrid operating Angio/CT hybrid theatre in Queensland the only one of its kind in the southern hemisphere.

USC’s Executive Study Tour in Health exposes you to a system that will revolutionise healthcare on the Coast and across Australia.

  • Gain insights into the Australian health community and gain an understanding of how Australian health leaders are shaping the global market place
  • Explore one of Queensland’s most vibrant health communities and engage with prominent health leaders

At the end of the Executive Study Tour you will be able to draw on the experiences of those leading the way in greenfield development and see first-hand how research and practice can be integrated to solve complex health practice issues.
