Speakers: Dr David Fleischman, Lecturer in Marketing and Dr Peter English, Lecturer in Journalism

Dr David Fleischman is a Lecturer in Marketing at USC. David has been working to help develop the USC High Performance student / athlete experience brand. His sports background includes a swimming scholarship to the University of Georgia in the U.S., where he competed at the national level. David also has elite swim coaching experience, working with national and international (including Olympians) swimmers at the top club and university levels in the U.S. He has also periodically worked with the USC Spartan Paralympic swim squad.

Dr Peter English is a Lecturer in Journalism at USC. He is also a sports journalist, writing for numerous Australian and international publications over two decades. Peter’s chief research area is sports journalism, with an emphasis on its journalists, content, and social media. Peter is interested in change in broader areas of journalism, media, and new media.
