Headstart Program Information Evening

Headstart Program Information Evening

USC’s Headstart is a transition program that gives Year 11 and 12 students the chance to experience university by allowing them to study USC courses while still at high school. Since 2003, almost 1000 high school students from as far as Gympie, Kingaroy and Redcliffe have participated in the Headstart program.

The USC Headstart Program Information Evening will be held on Thursday 8 September for interested students and their parents from 5–6pm on Level 3, Building J, University of the Sunshine Coast, Sippy Downs campus.

Register to attend the Headstart Information Evening

Join us and take the opportunity to speak with USC staff, Headstart students about their experience, and learn more about the courses you can study. The presentation will include an overview of the program and study opportunities, the support services available and how parents can best support their Headstart student, and a first hand account by a previous Headstart and current USC student.

Application deadlines for Semester 1, 2017 will be included in the 2017 Headstart guide, available in July through local high schools and on the night.

Visit the Headstart page for further information about the program.
