Girls Make Games workshop - USC Gympie

Breadcrumbs

Girls aged 11+ can design and code their own game using the software Construct 2 with help from lecturers and students from the University’s Bachelor of Serious Games program.

This free workshop is supported by the Tech Girls Movement, and is part of worldwide initiatives that encourage girls to consider careers in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics).

Serious games are designed to have an impact beyond entertainment (eg to educate or to change behaviours).

Booking is essential as there are limited places. Email USC Gympie to reserve a place by 22 September. Disclaimer: We reserve the right to cancel the event if registrations are insufficient.
