High school attended: Moranbah State High School (Central QLD)
Target graduation date: 2018
My journey: I finished school at the end of 2012 and differed for two years as I gained an extremely exciting career in the airlines; I spent two years working full time in Moranbah and Brisbane, and this year decided that it was time to focus on an area I am truly passionate about and am now in my first year of studying Journalism.
Career aspirations: I am quite passionate about the area I am studying in and in terms of my career goal, I would love to work in broadcast journalism. I am torn between television and radio presenting, I would absolutely love to do both! I aim to someday be working for a successful television or radio program, there really are so many great opportunities out there.
Why did you become an Ambassador? I have always been extremely passionate about communications, I enjoy public speaking and really wanted to involve myself with the University to assist in educating and informing future students about the benefits and opportunities that can truly come from the facilities and courses provided here at USC. I really want to share the opportunities and experiences with prospective students, so it wasn’t an opportunity I wanted to miss!
What do you like about USC? I feel genuinely comfortable at USC, it’s a really inviting environment that makes it so much easier in terms of studying, meeting people and finding your feet. I have had an excellent experience so far, there are a range of services that can really help you in so many ways through your studies and I have met some really great people.
