High school attended: Caloundra Christian College

Degree: Bachelor of International Studies

Target graduation date: 2017

My journey: After graduating high school I worked and travelled for five years. Primarily working for a non-government organisation, helping rescue children from human trafficking. After volunteering in Cambodia for six months I was inspired to come back to the Sunshine Coast and complete a university qualification, to enable me to be more effective in instigating change in the world. Since being at USC I have had the opportunity to study overseas twice and learn a language.

Career aspirations: In the future I would love to work in Disaster Relief and aid distribution management. Particularly working within the Asia-Pacific Region.

Why did you become an Ambassador? I am passionate about the opportunities that USC provide, academically and in preparation for their career pathways. I look forward to sharing my experiences with others to encourage their academic journey.

What do you like about USC? USC is such an exciting place to be. The university is growing, and so are the study opportunities. The learning environment is amazing, with lecturers and tutors going above and beyond to support your study experience.
