1. Purpose of policy
The following policy identifies the responsibility for approval and submission of Notifications of Material Changes from the University of the Sunshine Coast to the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA) pursuant to the TEQSA Act 2011.
2. Application of policy
This policy applies to all staff and members of University decision-making or advisory bodies.
3. Policy statement
3.1 The Vice-Chancellor and President has responsibility for approving the content and submission of any Notification of Material Changes affecting or likely to affect the University of the Sunshine Coast as required under the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Act 2011 consistent with processes specified by the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency from time to time.
3.2 Each Notification of Material Changes will be developed and recorded in accordance with the Notification of Material Changes – Procedures, associated with this policy.
