Under the broad direction of the Manager, Academic Secretariat, the Senior Curriculum and Program Accreditation Officer assists in the ongoing development of a culture of service and quality at the University of the Sunshine Coast through leadership in quality assurance of academic program accreditation, processes and approval. The position works closely with the Academic Committees and Policy Officer and the Academic Committees and Policy Support Officer in providing information and advice to faculties and academic governing committees with curriculum management and quality improvement responsibilities.
Kareen has worked in education in NSW, NZ and Queensland and most recently, with the TAFE on the Sunshine Coast. In this capacity, Kareen was an external member of the USC Academic Board and worked alongside USC staff on systems for articulation, implementing regional development strategies and several collaborative infrastructure programs. Kareen has a background in curriculum management, quality assurance and approval systems and processes.
