Paige manages and contributes to a range of executive projects that contribute to the implementation of USC’s strategic and operational plans. The projects, which may be at planning and development, funding submission or implementation stage, deliver a range of strategies and continuous business improvements for the sustainability and development of the University and/or the effective and efficient operation of the Office of the Vice-Chancellor and President.
Paige joined USC in 2006 as a Grants Officer within the Office of Research where she was responsible for all aspects of the pre- and post-award administration of internal and external research grants, and consultancies and outside work. This role included the promotion of research funding opportunities; provision of expert advice in the development, preparation and submission of funding applications; and the development, negotiation and maintenance of contracts and agreements. Paige also has experience in the preparation and analysis of internal and external reports including research output reports to University Council, Research Management Committee, the Australian Research Council, National Health and Medical Research Council, and the National Climate Change Adaptation Research Facility. During her time in the Office of Research, Paige was a member of the Australasian Research Management Society.
Paige is the Coordinator for the Centre for Leadership is Research Development. During her time in this role, the Centre has held two successful national forums, produced a Handbook for Executive Leadership in Research Development and produced two good practice guides on developing research capacity and developing research capability.
Paige has a Bachelor of Arts (Design and Communication) and is currently undertaking a Certificate IV in Project Management and a Master of Marketing.
