Profile

Ann Robertson has over 20 years' experience in second language education, specifically TESOL and Japanese, as well as extensive experience in pre-service and in-service teacher education. She has designed and taught programs for teachers from Korea, China and most recently Indonesia (mainly in the provinces of Papua, West Papua and NTB). For her work as a member of USC's International Project Group, she was awarded a 2012 Commonwealth Office of Learning and Teaching Citation for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning 'For stimulating systemic educational reform in Indonesian Papua through a unique, outcome-driven teacher education program for students within an Australian university'. Ann's current teaching role at USC includes courses related to languages, linguistics and communication.
