Profile

Dr Lisa Hill commenced with the School of Communication and Creative Industries at the University of the Sunshine Coast in May 2017 in the role of Lecturer in Creative Industries, teaching Screen and Media Studies. Her doctoral thesis examined the intersection between nostalgia, postfeminism and adaptation in screen texts, and her publications explore children's television, representations of gender on screen, celebrity and feminism. Lisa's ongoing research interests are in television history, memory, remediation and screened nostalgia.
