Paramedics have increasing requirements to provide a wider range of treatment options and to broaden their role in the emergency and unplanned care environment. Research in paramedicine contributes to the body of knowledge and evaluates implications in the paramedic profession. Our paramedical science research interests and expertise include:

  • clinical decision-making and diagnostic reasoning
  • evidence-based practice
  • palliative care
  • assessment and management of pain in paramedic practice
  • clinical leadership and enhancing community safety
