The Clinical Placement Administrative Assistant provides support to placement coordinators and students involved in Work Integrated Learning within the School of Health and Sport Sciences. Areas of support include:

  • Liaise with placement coordinators across six disciplines to ensure WILS Online is updated and functioning well to support upcoming student placement cohort
  • Liaise with students to ensure all mandatory documentation is uploaded to WILS Online in a timely manner in preparation for their placement
  • Assist students and placement staff with the process of obtaining current Blue Cards required for placement arrangements
  • Provide support to placement coordinators allocating students to placement sites, both pre-placement (where required) and in placement groups in WILS Online
  • Ensure records of USC Clinical Placement Deeds and Queensland Health Schedules reflect current placement arrangements
  • Facilitate information and signing sessions for Student Placement Agreements, Hepatitis B Serology and Blue Card Applications, within USC Orientation weeks and / or within courses
  • Ensure all WIL policies and procedures are updated as required, functioning efficiently and effectively, are consistently applied across all disciplines of the School and are reflected in current records in WILS Online
  • Provide general WILS Online and placement information support to placement Coordinators and other related USC staff as required.
