Hayden Kenny (1993) Surf Lifesaving

The original ironman, Hayden won the first ever Australian Ironman Championship at Alexandra Headland in 1966.

From a sporting family, the lifesaver was also responsible for introducing the Malibu surfboard to Queensland. His Hayden surfcrafts have carried many athletes to championships, including his famous son Grant.

Hayden continues his active involvement in the community with the Helicopter Rescue Service.
