Regular exercise is one of the most effective ways to manage arthritis. Generally, people with arthritis need to do a mix of three types of activities to help improve their condition: mobility exercises, strengthening exercises, and aerobic exercises. We're offering a weekly group clinic using evidence-based exercises to improve the quality of life of people with arthritis.
If you would like to take an active role in the management of your arthritis, we invite you to join us.
USC Arthritis Clinic operates on Tuesday afternoons at Sippy Downs, with the possibility of expansion to other dates and locations. Sessions are 1.5 hours long.
Expect to do an hour of moderate intensity exercise in this time. Remember to wear comfortable clothes and shoes, and bring a drink bottle along to the exercise sessions.
