Hope Crowe of Redcliffe is putting her University of the Sunshine Coast degree and people skills into practice after landing a job with an international health insurance company.
Hope, 21, completed a Bachelor of Business, majoring in Human Resource Management, at USC in late 2011.
On Wednesday 4 April she was among 1,100 students to graduate from the University at two special ceremonies on campus.
The former Southern Cross Catholic College vice-captain said she was excited about her career prospects after starting work as a customer service consultant.
“Having a Bachelor of Business has given me credibility amongst my co-workers, allowing me the poise needed to develop in the corporate world,” she said.
Hope said her decision to study at USC was based on the University’s size, location and teaching reputation.
“As soon as I attended USC’s Open Day, I knew I could reach my full capabilities through the University,” she said.
“The staff and students I met have helped me to grow, both personally and professionally, and I truly believe that the friendly atmosphere made learning more enjoyable.”
Hope said she planned to continue working as a customer service consultant in the future.
“I have a supportive organisation behind me and I look forward to learning, developing and achieving with them,” she said.
