A stunning exhibition of oil paintings by figurative artist Stefan Dunlop is now on display at the University of the Sunshine Coast Gallery.

The exhibition, Stefan Dunlop: ten years, covers a decade of his painting, including works produced as part of a residency at the University of Texas in Dallas in 2010.

It was officially opened last night by Edwina Corlette, the director of Edwina Corlette Gallery in Brisbane.

University of the Sunshine Coast Gallery Curator Dawn Oelrich said paintings in the exhibition had been borrowed from private collections in New South Wales and Queensland, along with new work destined for the Melbourne Art Fair.

The exhibition will be on display from Thursday 12 July to Saturday 18 August at the USC Gallery.

The Gallery is located at the University campus on Sippy Downs Drive, Sippy Downs. It is open free to the public from 10am to 4pm Monday to Saturday, but is closed Sundays and public holidays.

The 2012 University of the Sunshine Coast Gallery exhibition program is supported by The Proost De Deyne Family, owners of Big Kart Track Sunshine Coast.
