The University of the Sunshine Coast’s free shuttle bus service for Gympie students will recommence tomorrow (Wednesday 7 March).

The service was cancelled today (Tuesday 6 March) after flood waters, caused by severe weather conditions on Monday, cut the Bruce Highway.

About a dozen students from Gympie are saving plenty of time and money by using the weekday service, which was introduced this semester on a trial basis.

The bus starts outside the Centro Shopping Centre (corner Excelsior Road and Perseverance Street) at 6.30am and stops once at Cooroy (corner Elm and Opal Streets) on its way to USC.

It leaves USC at 5.10pm for the return trip to Gympie.
