Darcy Webb is getting down to business after graduating from the University of the Sunshine Coast with a Bachelor of Business (Management).
The former Mackay resident, who attended the USC Graduation Ceremony on 5 April, said he had gained much more than a degree.
“I loved USC,” he said, describing the campus as “an amazing community for both learning and meeting friends for life”.
“The staff were incredibly professional and gave you the time and attention you required. The diverse range of cultures and nationalities at USC really made the experience as well.”
The 21-year-old, who attended Pioneer State High School in Mackay and is now a Sippy Downs resident, said the Sunshine Coast was the perfect location to study and live.
“It has all the benefits of being close to the city, but without the negatives of living in the city, and access to some of the most amazing beaches,” he said.
Darcy is now gaining valuable experience working in hospitality, in roles such as events coordinator, as he targets a career in advertising or marketing.
