The University of the Sunshine Coast has altered its Orientation Week schedule following forecasts of heavy rain and strong winds for tomorrow (Tuesday 19 February).
All outdoor activities that were planned for tomorrow at USC have been either cancelled or moved indoors.
Despite the inclement weather, the University is still aiming to make its 3,500 new students feel right at home this week.
Official welcome events are still planned for the Faculty of Science, Health, Education and Engineering from 10-11am tomorrow (Tuesday 19 February) and for the Faculty of Arts and Business on Wednesday 20 February from 10-11am.
All Startsmart sessions – which provide detailed information about course content, how students can structure their degrees, and where they can find online information – will go ahead.
