The University of the Sunshine Coast is gearing up to welcome thousands of new students to its Sippy Downs campus during its annual Orientation Week from 18-22 February.
The week will feature a wide range of fun and serious activities, including social events, sporting challenges, live entertainment and information sessions about budgeting, time management and note taking.
Official welcome events will be held for the Faculty of Science, Health, Education and Engineering on Tuesday from 10-11am and for the Faculty of Arts and Business on Wednesday from 10-11am.
Tuesday will be the biggest day of O Week with a community market that features stalls, community information booths and cuisines from around the world.
USC Sports and Societies Day, at which students can sign up for various university clubs and teams, will be held on the Wednesday.
Other days of the week will feature special activities for International students (Monday), postgraduate students (Thursday), and those who want to explore the Sunshine Coast and nearby tourist attractions (Friday).
USC’s Student Guild is also planning a range of fun activities for O Week, including a pool party and a movie night.
