The University of the Sunshine Coast will hold a special Mid-year Entry Information Evening at its Sippy Downs campus tomorrow (Wednesday 8 May) from 5pm to 6.30pm.
This free event will give prospective students the chance to talk one-on-one with USC’s academic, administrative and support staff about how to start studying in July.
People can attend any time between 5pm and 6.30pm, but a 20-minute “Preparing for Study” seminar from 5.30pm comes highly recommended for those who are new to tertiary education.
There will also be campus tours every 15 minutes.
USC’s External Relations Manager Kylie Russell said the information evening would outline the wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate degrees available at the University.
Among these are popular degrees, Nursing Science and Civil Engineering, which for the first time will take mid-year enrolments.
Ms Russell said the information event would assist anyone considering studying next semester, including those who have already applied.
“You will be able to find out about alternative entry pathways, studying overseas as part of your degree, the costs involved in studying and the financial support that is available,” she said.
“The Preparing for Study seminar will also provide some practical tips on preparing for your first semester at uni, insights into what university life is like, and details about USC’s support services,” she said.
Bookings are essential by emailing <firstname.lastname@example.org> or phoning (07) 5456 5000.
