A University of the Sunshine Coast graduate with a passion for creative graphic design and innovative marketing solutions has secured a great start to his career with a Caloundra-based company.
Blake Fritz, 20, of Bundaberg graduated from USC on 10 April with a Design and Communication degree.
The former Shalom College student said his job with JayB Enterprises was particularly interesting because the company owned and operated numerous businesses across the region.
“My role includes working with each of these businesses to develop graphic design and advertising/marketing solutions to promote them to existing and potential customers,” Blake said.
“It’s a creative environment that allows me to utilise and develop the valuable knowledge and skills I acquired through studying at USC.”
Blake said he chose USC because the Bachelor of Arts program allowed him to combine both design and communication in a single degree and his majors in graphic design and advertising complemented each other.
“I really liked the high quality of learning materials and resources at the University and the knowledgeable, helpful teaching staff,” he said.
