An exciting exhibition of graphic design, animation, magazine layouts, web sites, digital prints, e-media and illustration by USC students will open at the USC Gallery on Thursday 6 November.
The annual student portfolio exhibition by advanced-level Design students, this year called #[TRENDING],will be officially opened at 6.30pm by one of Australia’s best-known designers Ken Cato of Cato Brand Partners and Agideas.
Members of the public are welcome to attend the official opening of this exhibition.
Awards for the most outstanding student portfolios will be presented by the gallery’s sponsor of student work, the Proost-De Deyne family.
USC Gallery Curator Dawn Oelrich said the exhibition showcased the creative work and broad range of concepts created by USC students who are about to embark on various careers in the creative industries.
“This innovative exhibition provides an excellent opportunity for industry representatives to see examples of the work being produced by the latest group of talented designers here at USC,” Ms Oelrich said.
The exhibition will be on display from Thursday 6 November until Saturday 22 November at the USC Gallery.
The gallery is located at the University campus on Sippy Downs Drive, Sippy Downs. It is open free to the public from 10am to 4pm Monday to Saturday except public holidays.
