Bachelor of Business (Management) 2008
Bachelor of Social Science (Counselling) 2011
Master of Social Work (2015)
The courses I did during my degree have laid the foundation of my career, for my business, and for being self-employed.
I chose USC because not only is it local, it’s an incredible uni that offers engaging lectures and space to explore what your interests are whilst developing your knowledge. There’s a wonderful and energetic vibe from being in a classroom with lecturers who base their teaching on their own experience of working in the field…bringing their careers and experience to their lectures.
In 2011, I started my next business. It was a niche counselling service offering support for the family and friends of accused. I have been working as a volunteer counsellor for prisoners and I have just completed a 500 hour placement with women’s domestic violence service. I enjoy working with people to maintain relationships and intersecting business practices and responsibilities.
I’m the first one of five to finish high school and to go on and complete three degrees.
My best memories are my whole USC journey of putting my learning to good practice and hoping that every assessment helps build your career attributes, to set you up, and help pave the way to a successful future and potentially encourage you to return to postgraduate work.
