Study Abroad student at USC.

I’m from Bavaria in south east Germany, from a town called Regensburg. I’m studying a Bachelor of Business and I’m at the end of my second year. I studied one semester in the Study Abroad Program at USC.

I chose USC because a representative from USC visited my home university and held a presentation. It sounds funny, but the part about the kangaroos convinced me to choose USC. It was really special for me because we don’t have kangaroos. Additional to that, USC offered interesting courses for which I got credit transferred towards my home university studies. USC offers a range of support for international students and I can recommend them. I attended an English course, business drop-in sessions and workshops for assignment writing or consultations with an academic skills adviser. They help you getting started and give you helpful hints about grammar or referencing. USC offers great services where I got personal attention.

My student life was great and it was personally enriching. USC taught me useful knowledge I need for my professional career and I've made many friends.

Besides studying, there are some clubs and activities with which you can explore the Sunshine Coast. We travelled to Fraser Island which is my favourite place. I was allowed to drive a 4-wheel-drive along the beach. It was an amazing experience. I enjoyed my time at USC, the Sunshine Coast and Australia, which I will never forget.
