USC offers a range of science degrees to suit a variety of interests. These degrees can lead to career opportunities in biomedical research and education, biotechnology, communicable disease control, drug registration, medical sales and pharmaceuticals. It is also a base for further study in the fields of medicine, pharmacy, dentistry or veterinary science.

Work integrated learning opportunities

A feature of USC’s Engineering programs is the focus on real-world practice – you are taught to understand how different structures and materials behave when you start designing and building with them. For more information refer to Engineering — Work experience.

Workplace Learning (WPL) is an elective course that provides a valuable transition from university to your professional life. Placements are available for Animal Ecology, Environmental Science and Science students.
