ENG701 Pavement Construction

Breadcrumbs

The sustainable construction of pavements for roads, mining, airports, industrial warehousing and freight terminals is important for safety, serviceability and structural adequacy. It depends on the design, and affects the other phases of the ‘pavement’ life cycle: operation and renewal, and maintenance. In this professional course, you apply the principles and practices of construction in different contexts; learn techniques and technologies; and audit construction sites. You also solve complex problems to meet national standards, and communicate in different ways to specialist audiences.
