Postgraduate Course
This course provides the opportunity to develop the knowledge and skill necessary to plan, implement, and evaluate holistic and comprehensive midwifery care in a range of contexts. The Practicum includes clinical placement in a variety of settings, and will provide you with learning opportunities to demonstrate increasingly complex decision making, and safe and effective care. At completion of the course, students should be able to demonstrate the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) National Competency Standards for the Midwife at the level of a beginning practitioner.
