Event management is an exciting and rapidly expanding field. This course allows students to build their understanding of the base body of knowledge, theory and methodology that underpins modern event management. The course incorporates case studies and guest speakers from various event industries to provide a contemporary context for examining best practice in event management. In addition, students have the opportunity to develop and run their own event as a group, gaining comprehensive practical experience of event management activities from proposal and planning to execution and evaluation.
