Study in Asia or the Pacific in 2017 with an NCP Scholarship worth up to $67000.00


The New Colombo Plan Scholarship, is a prestigious grant that offers students the opportunity to study in Asia or the Pacific in 2017 for a semester or two. The NCP Scholarship will open doors for your career.

Students must study for one (or two) semester at a university in one of 38 countries. Students may also undertake an internship with an organisation, prior, during or after the study component.

 

The Scholarship will cover

  • Tuition
  • Travel
  • Monthly living allowance,
  • Health and travel insurance and
  • Study materials allowance
  • In-country language training

Total value up to $67,000.

Students can apply if they are

  • An Australian Citizen
  • Enrolled at USC (Bachelors or Hons)
  • Aged between 18-28 (inclusive) on 1 Jan 2017
  • Have a GPA of 6 and above
     

Students who meet the eligibility criteria and would like to study overseas for up to 12 months, should send an expression of interest with a copy of their current academic transcript ASAP to Dr Sheila Peake. speake@usc.edu.au

 

Formal Applications for the NCP scholarship open on 1 July. Prior to that students must attend an informal interview with Dr Peake and submit a draft application that addresses specific selection criteria. Students will be mentored through the process.
