USC will soon be smoke free

Smoke-free USC. Change is in the air. 1 January 2018.

The Queensland Government is working with all Queensland universities and TAFEs to facilitate and support the transition to smoke-free campuses in 2018. USC will transition from the current designated smoking areas policy to a smoke-free university on 1 January 2018.

​Information sessions will be held throughout the semester for students seeking additional information. Dates for the Sunshine Coast campus are below, with dates for Fraser Coast and Gympie to follow:

  • Tuesday 19 September 2:00pm-3:00pm E1.04
  • Tuesday 17 October 10:00am-11:00am E1.04
