2017 Student Experience Survey (SES) – OPEN Now!

The Student Experience Survey (SES) is now open. Current undergraduate or postgraduate coursework students will receive email invitations from 5 August. So, keep an eye on your student inbox or link to the survey from the Surveys to complete module on Blackboard. Complete the survey ASAP for your best chance to win one of three $1000 VISA gift cards or other great prizes in the weekly prize draws! Terms and conditions apply.

The SES is a national survey which is conducted by the Social Research Centre for the Australian Government. Student feedback is very important and contributes directly to the quality of teaching, learning and the student experience for current and future students. Your feedback will help USC best target its teaching and support services to meet the needs and expectations of our students.

In 2016, USC student responses:

  • placed USC as the second most highly rated public university in Australia for the overall quality of its educational experience and teaching quality for undergraduate students.
  • placed USC first among Queensland public universities for the overall quality of its educational experience for undergraduate students, teaching quality, learning resources, and skills development.

Based on last year’s student responses, USC will be implementing a number of new and improved strategies to promote the available support services, skills development opportunities and resources to assist students in transitioning into graduate employment.
