USC staff are currently working with the Hervey Bay PCYC to see if we can get some activities on the go for staff and students. We'd love to hear from you to see what you'd be interested in and what day/times of the week would most suit you. To leave your feedback please complete our short survey.

Free screening of 'The Hunting Ground' documentary

As part of a Universities Australia initiative, USC are partnering with other Australian universities in a national campaign entitled ‘Respect. Now. Always.’ The campaign highlights the determination of Australia’s universities to ensure that students and staff are safe from sexual assault and sexual harassment.

THE HUNTING GROUND is a critically acclaimed feature documentary that chronicles the personal stories of students who have been sexually assaulted on American university campuses. Interweaving observational footage, expert insights and first-person testimonies, the film follows survivors pursuing both their education and justice in the face of institutional failure to respond effectively and appropriately to their reports. The screening of this documentary aims to raise awareness and promote conversation around these issues. After the screening, a panel discussion at Sippy Downs will be streamed live.

When:Thursday 25 May, 1:00 - 3:30pm

Where: FCC2.11 Seminar room

Presented by USC Student Wellbeing.
