Hear from your fellow peers - like Psychology (Honours) student Bradley Lines - about their experience with the Student Leadership program so far...
“I have been involved with some extracurricular activities both inside and outside the uni since the end of last year. When I heard about the Student Leadership Award, I was curious to see what it involved (thinking it would be for super-high achievers and students who donated every waking moment to charities). When I attended the leadership information session on the 20th of March, I was surprised by the fact that I didn't have a good answer for what 'leadership' is. I was also surprised by the fact that it appeared I had already been doing exactly what was required for the award. It seemed that the hours I was already volunteering within and outside of uni, would easily cover the 1000 hours required for the award. What I found more inspiring, was the drive to dig deeper and discover what leadership meant to me and, although I had heard about them, what the 'graduate attributes' actually meant to me and how I could embody them.” – Bradley Lines, Bachelor of Psychology (Honours)
