Now that you have planned your study, you must enrol in your courses in USC Central.

How to enrol

Check the Academic Calendar for key enrolment dates.

Enrolling is a 2 step process:

Step 1 - Enrol in your courses

You can enrol in courses for Study period 2 now. This gives you the opportunity to plan your study well in advance.

Note: If you enrol in a course but don't select a class time (step 2), you'll be charged the fee for the course at census date. You can swap, drop or add courses up until the end of week 2, and remove courses from your enrolment up until census date. View key dates in the academic calendar.

View the instructions to complete Step 1 in the video below or the Enrol in your courses PDF guide.

Step 2 - Select your class times

Use the Timetable Planner* to plan your class times.

Once Class selection opens*, select your class times in USC Central by following the instructions in the video below or the Select your class times PDF guide.

Tip: Select your classes as soon as Class selection opens as classes can fill quickly.

* We will be in contact with you to let you know when the Timetable Planner is available and Class selection opens.

Post-admission requirements (Undergraduate students only)
Check for any Post-admission requirements you must complete as soon as you have enrolled

If you are studying in one of the below areas, check the What will I study? tab on your program page to see what post-admission requirements you must complete to be eligible to commence clinical placement.

  • Education
  • Paramedic Science
  • Occupational Therapy
  • Medical Laboratory Science
  • Nursing/Midwifery

As you may have placement in your first year, it is advised you start these as soon as you have enrolled. Visit Placement essentials for more essential information.

Enabling courses (Undergraduate students only)
Could you do with some help in chemistry, biology, maths, statistics, physics and/or physiology?

Now that you have completed your enrolment, you can enrol in enabling courses. The range of enabling courses can assist you in learning new skills and refreshing your knowledge.

Students who undertake enabling courses tend to get better results in their first-year courses than those who don't.
