Your student email and Blackboard are two student systems you will use regularly during your studies.
Once you are enrolled, all University communications will be sent to your student email. It is important to check your student email regularly to stay informed.
Your course lecturers and tutors will contact you via your student email and important student notifications will be sent here.
To learn more about your USC student email refer to IT services for students.
Consider bookmarking the log in page on your computers web browser, or forwarding your student emails to your personal email account to access important student notifications conveniently.
The day after you accept your offer via USC Central you will have access to Blackboard, the learning management system you will use to access:
- online study materials for lectures and tutorials
- student announcements and notifications
- information resources including Library catalogue and databases
- discussion boards and forums (eg buy-sell, study, chat)
Your course materials will be made available by your course coordinator the week before classes commence.
Students with a smartphone can download the Blackboard Mobile app (select University of the Sunshine Coast).
- How do I login to Blackboard
From the USC home page footer menu select Login > Blackboard, or sign in directly via Blackboard using the username provided in your letter of offer and your new password (as changed in the previous step). Explore your courses under the My Courses tab, access your Course Outlines and view student notifications.
