As a university student, you will be charged tuition fees and the Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF). Prior to completing the SSAF from (eSAF) in USC Central please refer to SA-HELP Information for 2016 booklet to make sure you understand your financial obligations.
Tuition fees will vary according to the area of study you choose, and your fee type. The amounts can be viewed at Schedule of fees by selecting Higher Degree by Research (HDR) fees for full Tuition Fee details. SSAF details can also be viewed on this page.
It is your responsibility to access your fee invoice via USC Central. To generate and print your online invoice, go to: USC Central – My Finances – View Invoice. Your invoice will display in a new tab. The due date for payment of your fees will be displayed on your invoice. USC does not post invoices to students.
Please note: If you change your enrolment at any time this may change your fee liability. Check your account after your enrolment changes and regenerate an invoice if necessary. Payment options are detailed on your invoice, for more information refer to How to pay your fees.
Are you a Fee-paying student or are you receiving a Tuition Fee Offset or Scholarship?
- Tuition Fee Offset or Scholarship supported students
If you are a USC tuition fee scholarship supported student or a Research Training Program Fee Offset Scholarship student your tuition fees will automatically be paid each semester for the duration of your scholarship support. Refer to the Description of Candidature provided with your offer documentation if you are unsure of your fee type. If you received an offer for a tuition fee scholarship or other fees offset, your scholarship offer letter and Schedule of Scholarship Conditions will provide the duration of your scholarship support.
- Fee-paying students
If you are a Fee-paying student your fees must be paid by the fee payment due date as shown on your invoice. Generate your invoice at: USC Central - My Finances - View Invoice. FEE-HELP loans are available to Australian citizens and holders of Permanent Humanitarian visas. To apply, complete your FEE-HELP electronic Commonwealth Assistance Form (eCAF) and enter your Tax File Number (TFN) in USC Central after accepting your offer.
The FEE-HELP Commonwealth Assistance Form will be included in your list of compulsory To-Do items in USC Central.

Important note: If you have not paid your tuition fees or have not completed your FEE-HELP Commonwealth assistance form (eCAF) and provided your tax file number by the fee payment due date, your enrolment will be cancelled.
