While studying at USC, there are three online services that you will be able to access using the username and the initial password provided in response to your acceptance of offer:
Access USC Central (as described in step 2)
USC Central is the online system that students use to:
- access financial information and invoices
- provide and amend personal and contact details
- manage enrolment in courses
- view class and examination schedule, grades (results), enrolment and academic records
Log in to USC Central using your username and password.
You will have access to the Blackboard, the learning management system that delivers web access to:
- Online study materials
- Student announcements and notifications
- Information resources including Library catalogues and databases
- Discussion boards and forum
- Course information
- Study tools
- Train(ing) Station
- Change your password
- Recordings and materials from Research Fundamentals and Research Essentials sessions
How do I login to the Blackboard?
From the USC home page footer menu select Login > Blackboard, or sign in directly via Blackboard using the username provided in your letter of offer and your new password. Explore your courses under the My Courses tab. Access your Course Outlines and view student notifications.
Access your Student email
Your student email is the main tool used to communicate important information regarding all aspects of your student life from your enrolment and fees to campus news and events and other notices. It is recommended to check your student email regularly to stay informed. To learn more about your USC student email refer to IT services for students.
Consider bookmarking the login page on your computers web browser, or forwarding your student emails to your personal email account to access important student notifications conveniently.
How do I login to my student email?

Request an optional ‘@research’ email address format
HDR candidates may request an "@research.usc.edu.au" email format by completing the online form.
Once activated, your research student email address will be email@example.com.
